Anirudh Damani, a fourth-generation entrepreneur and a second-generation investor from the Damani family, is the managing partner of Artha Venture Fund.
His funding strategy has helped Artha create an investment portfolio of more than 85 early-stage companies in India, the United States and Israel, with names such as Oyo, Purplle, Tala and Coutloot.
Damani led the alternative investment arm for his family office, Artha India Ventures. He invested in high-yielding renewable energy projects and into early-stage startups with high growth potential. At Artha India Ventures, he invested in startups including OYO Rooms, Purplle, Tala, NowFloats, Coutloot, Mobilewalla and Rapido.
He was an entrepreneur in the US energy space, working with companies including Suez Energy, Direct Energy and Constellation.
The alumnus of Austin College and Cathedral & John Connon School in Mumbai writes a popular blog called Show Me Damani.
